At ABB, you help industries run leaner and cleaner. You lead important projects, get support to grow, and make a difference with your work. You work on ABB's Data & Systems Modernization (DSM) Program, a big project to modernize and harmonize data and systems. DSM makes things simpler, improves how we manage data, and helps everyone make better and faster decisions. You make sure the program follows ABB's rules and keeps everything safe and ready for audits.
Your tasks
- Own the program-wide framework for assurance, risk, and internal controls, making sure it matches ABB policies, rules, and standards
- Lead the team of internal control experts to design future ways of working for SAP S/4HANA, including both manual and automated controls
- Work with IT, business, and process leads to make sure controls and access rules are the same everywhere in ABB
- Be the main contact for Internal Audit, outside auditors, and assurance teams, helping with audits and fixing problems fast
- Report often to program leaders about risks, how ready controls are, and progress on fixing issues
- Give regular updates to leaders about control maturity, risks, and progress on solving problems
- Find ways to make the internal controls framework better during the SAP S/4HANA rollout
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience in assurance, risk management, and internal controls in large, complex, multinational companies
- Experience with ERP transformation programs, including SAP S/4HANA
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm with SOX and ERP transformation projects is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls and Automated Control environments
- Good at working with different teams, even without being their manager
- Experience working at the intersection of Business, IT, and Risk, with a focus on governance and transformation
- Organized and practical, able to balance rules and helping the business
- Excellent communicator who works well with leaders and stakeholders
- Eligible to work in Switzerland (no visa sponsorship for this role)
