You help industries run leaner and cleaner by guiding legal matters in a global robotics leader. You join a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics during an exciting transition as SoftBank Group plans to acquire ABB Robotics. You work in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment based in Switzerland, where you are empowered to lead, supported to grow, and make a real impact together with world-class experts. This is a hybrid role.
Your tasks
- Take responsibility for legal and integrity duties, corporate governance, and compliance for all Swiss legal entities, including secretarial services and regulatory filings.
- Advise the Swiss Country Holding Officer and senior management on governance, compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic legal matters for business operations, mergers & acquisitions, and license to operate needs.
- Oversee integrity investigations, government contracting compliance, data privacy and protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory certifications. Make sure everything aligns with internal audit, HSE, and risk management standards.
- Give expert advice on contracts and commercial agreements in Switzerland. Work with global business functions and Legal colleagues on specialized topics like IP, business, operations, and integrity.
- Collaborate well within a dynamic, agile legal team working across the DACH cluster.
- Support business operations in places where there are no dedicated legal resources, such as Austria.
What you bring
- Degree from a reputed law university and Swiss qualified lawyer status.
- 10-15 years of professional experience in corporate or commercial law in multinational companies or top law firms.
- Proven ability to manage fiduciary duties, corporate governance, and work in a decentralized organization.
- Experience in the robotics sector and as a tech lawyer is a plus, but not required.
- Skilled at leading complex legal matters with significant business impact.
- Familiarity with finance, treasury, risk management or insurance. Experience in antitrust, IP, and IS/IT legal matters is preferred.
- Track record of advising senior business stakeholders and regulators internationally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to communicate and coordinate complex issues with all levels of management and employees.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented, with a focus on supporting business growth while managing legal risk.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English. Other regional languages are an asset.
