In this role, you support the quality strategy for a local unit, help build a strong quality culture, and make sure systems and teams work well together. Your tasks
- Support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local unit
- Help build a quality culture and support systems, tools, and teams
- Analyze customer and process issues to find root causes
- Start and track cases in the Practical Problem Solving tool
- Present quality reports and improvements to customers and follow up on actions
- Define containment, corrective, and preventive actions
- Facilitate Level 2 Quality Circles and escalate critical cases as needed
- Work to improve key quality metrics like First Pass Yield, Supplier PPM, Customer DPU, and Cost of Poor Quality
- Collaborate with local functions to reach quality targets and aim for world-class performance
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in quality or a similar role
- Strong understanding of quality processes, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with people at all levels of the organization
- Flexible to work beyond standard hours and perform well under pressure
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
- Willing to travel up to 10% for customer visits and site inspections
