Your tasks
- Develop new and innovative design concepts and solutions for products
- Work closely with project and product teams to create manufacturing-ready component designs
- Lead and manage small development projects and sub-projects
- Coordinate external design work with partners
- Work onsite and collaborate with different departments to implement design solutions
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics, or related field
- Strong knowledge in designing plastic components and stamped/bent parts
- Ideally, experience in mechanical and electrical systems of low-voltage products (such as miniature circuit breakers)
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good knowledge of CAD software (preferably Solidworks)
- Very good skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Experience with project management methods
- High self-motivation, quick to learn, and results-oriented with a positive attitude
