This position reports to the Service Operations Manager and contributes to the Motion Service, Local Sales Unit in Morges. The work model for the role is field-based.
Tasks
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of frequency converters (drives).
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting directly at customer sites.
- Administrative tasks such as service reports, protocols, and technical reports.
- On-call duty.
Requirements
- Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC) in Automation, Automation Assembly, Electronics, Electrical Installation, Electrical Assembly, or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Federal Diploma (ES) or University of Applied Sciences degree (HES) is a plus.
- Experience in the field of power electronics is desired.
- Excellent command of French; good communication skills in English are required.
- Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Availability for a field-based role with frequent travel across Switzerland and on-call duty.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-reliant, responsible, and customer-oriented personality.
