This internship offers the opportunity to support key finance activities and gain hands-on experience in a global technology and industrial company. The role is hybrid, based in Zurich, starting August 2026 for 6 or 7 months, contributing to the Finance Team in the Distribution Solution within the Electrification Business Area.

Tasks

  • Support the implementation and rollout of the new SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 5QRF reporting environment, including testing, validation, documentation, and user support activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of the Annual Planning Process (APP) by supporting data collection, analysis, reporting, and planning activities across global business units.
  • Participate in the testing, validation, and continuous improvement of new CFIN reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and reporting effectiveness.
  • Support CFIN master data management activities, including master data setup, harmonization, and cleanup initiatives to improve data quality and reporting consistency.
  • Contribute to the Clean Sales Order Project by assisting with data quality analysis, root-cause investigations, KPI tracking, and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing order data quality and governance.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across multiple countries on assignments with clearly defined KPIs, gaining exposure to diverse business processes and intercultural teamwork.
  • Deliver assigned tasks and projects within the internship period while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance organization.
  • Participate in formal training programs and development activities to strengthen finance, analytical, digital, and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in corporate finance, financial analysis, controlling, and business performance management.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large sets of data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, SAP, or other financial reporting and analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about learning, continuous improvement, and working in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
