Material Planner (IPU)

This role contributes to the Business Line Critical Power and Manufacturing Unit Quartino - Smart Power Division, Electrification.

• Responsible for end-to-end planning of materials to ensure business continuity and support the IPU leader in defining and meeting strategic targets based on supply chain readiness and constraints.
• Support IPU Leader in short-term strategic target setting (monthly target) and mid-long term target setting (production volumes increase), triggering IPU requirements to P&F, and ensuring material forecasts are visible according to business needs.
• Act as the first reference for IPU regarding material availability, ensuring business continuity in IPU production lines and addressing any criticality involving accountable stakeholders.
• Calculate and maintain inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in planning systems and ERPs.
• Coordinate material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
• Collaborate with buyers to achieve optimal supplier performance in terms of on-time delivery, minimum order quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.
