Tasks

  • Design traction power electronics converter and energy storage systems (ESS), ensuring seamless integration within vehicles according to customer needs, industry standards, and internal specifications.
  • Lead the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests to ensure robust system performance, focusing on traction converters and ESS for enhanced energy efficiency.
  • Develop deep expertise in core power engineering competencies, components, or tools to provide technical guidance for peers.
  • Optimize design processes and customer solutions independently or by collaborating in cross-functional specialist teams.
  • Contribute to the evolution of traction product families through standardization and continuous improvements.
  • Drive innovation in the integration of traction converters with ESS.

Requirements

  • Qualified Power Electronics/Electrical Engineer with a solid background in power electronics design and engineering.
  • Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.
  • Eager to continuously expand technical expertise, drive continuous improvement, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Proactive individual who thrives on solving complex challenges and takes ownership of tasks, while being an effective team player in an inclusive environment.
  • Clear and efficient communication in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • German language skills are a strong advantage.
  • Occasional travel opportunities to support projects.
