This position is based onsite in Quartino, Switzerland, in the Power Protection, Smart Power division.
Your tasks
- Analyze non-conformities to find root causes and start cases in the Practical Problem Solving (PPS) tool to track and resolve issues.
- Define and follow up on containment, corrective, and preventive actions for PPS cases. Lead Level 2 Quality Circles and escalate critical cases when needed.
- Work to improve key quality metrics like First Pass Yield (FPY), Supplier PPM, Customer DPU, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Monitor and close PPS cases on time.
- Manage supplier non-conformities and work with the Supplier Quality Manager to solve top issues.
- Support Quality Technicians by spotting ways to prevent problems and reduce production disruptions.
- Develop and improve quality gates to make products and processes better.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or SSST in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a quality or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality processes, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement tools.
- Good communication and people skills to work with others at all levels.
- Ready to work beyond standard hours when needed and able to perform well under pressure.
- Proven ability to manage tasks efficiently and work well in a changing manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
