This position follows a hybrid work model and is part of the Critical Power business line in the Electrification Smart Power division.
Your tasks
- Design, develop, and deliver technical trainings in person or online for participants worldwide.
- Prepare ABB and Channel Partner sales teams so they feel confident with product knowledge, sales skills, and sharing the value of our solutions with customers.
- Ensure excellent customer service and high customer satisfaction through training sessions.
- Prepare and deliver training courses in classrooms, online, or on-site, and follow up on training needs and feedback.
- Create and update lesson plans, course materials, and training programs for your area of expertise.
- Advise on updates for e-learning materials as needed.
- Consider feedback from courses and make changes to improve future trainings.
- Support the Center of Expertise Bid & Proposal team and other teams in the Power Protection organization with your knowledge.
- Help Training Coordinators with course arrangements, answering questions, and giving suggestions for training courses.
What you bring
- At least 3 years of experience in the critical power field, in Training, Sales, Service, or R&D.
- Experience with UPS, STS, PDU, Power Conditioning Systems, and Battery Systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
- Extra education in adult teaching is an advantage.
- Ability to learn and use new technologies.
- Enjoy working with adult learning and communication methods.
- Self-motivated, creative in communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable communicating in English; other languages are a plus.
