In this role, you lead production engineering initiatives and drive operational excellence in the Critical Power Product Line in Schaffhausen. You work in a hybrid model with strong onsite activities in Schaffhausen and related production sites.
Your tasks
- Lead the production engineering team to meet operational targets and KPIs
- Allocate resources to ensure equipment selection, installation, and ramp-up
- Mentor and develop engineering staff to build high-performing teams
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and process improvements, including new technologies and partners
- Manage capital projects related to production processes, equipment, and industrialization of new products
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to create a safe, smart, and efficient manufacturing landscape
- Work with key functions at several production sites to optimize production flows and improve the manufacturing footprint
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods
- Analyze production data and implement data-driven solutions across sites
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 8 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing management
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and automation systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high intercultural competence
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods
