Join us and help run what runs the world. This position supports the Electrification Smart Buildings division, Business Line Energy Distribution, in Schaffhausen.
Tasks
- Planning, coordination and implementation of prototype and sample construction orders in close collaboration with Development, Engineering, Production, Quality and SCM
- Management of production, work and process documentation as well as bill of materials and manufacturing documents (creation, maintenance and updating)
- Material flow management: ensuring timely material availability for prototypes and pre-series, monitoring material bottlenecks and initiating appropriate measures
- Process optimization: planning and organization of workflows as well as continuous improvement according to Lean principles
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an industrial production or engineering environment, ideally in prototype, sample construction or manufacturing
- Technical understanding and experience reading technical drawings and bill of materials
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage) and MS Office applications
- Enjoyment of collaborating with different departments and coordinating various tasks
- Strong communication skills with high self-initiative and hands-on mentality
- Fluent German; English skills are an advantage
