Your tasks
- Assist the quality team in keeping and improving a quality system
- Conduct audits and set up quality controls
- Train others on quality tools and methods
- Support quality management activities in the unit
- Report on quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer cases
- Keep process documents up to date
- Make sure control plans and quality procedures are followed on the shop floor
- Monitor critical quality points and indicators to prevent problems
- Supervise the release of production batches based on quality rules
- Perform release tests on components or products and track results
- Join shop floor meetings with production teams
- Help solve internal quality issues with other departments
- Analyze first-line internal non-conformities and start problem-solving if needed
- Manage quality data and help set up quality control procedures in software
- Adjust process settings when needed
- Check and report on production-related quality KPIs such as failure costs and first pass yield
- Give quality training to production staff
- Supervise test equipment and carry out process audits
What you bring
- Experience with test equipment verification and calibration
- Technical background in electrical or mechanical fields
- Experience doing release tests for serial production
- Understanding of quality KPIs and control charts
- Knowledge of process audits and related quality methods
- Good German and English skills, written and spoken
- Goal-oriented and good at solving problems (L6S yellow or green belt preferred)
- Team player who takes initiative and responds quickly
