Your tasks

  • Develop the market at switchgear manufacturers in German-speaking Switzerland.
  • Identify new market opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets for your divisions.
  • Work closely with internal departments, channel partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Guide customer projects from opportunity to successful completion, creating technical and commercial solutions.
  • Coordinate all stakeholders and ensure a professional, efficient sales process.
  • Build long-term customer relationships, give professional advice, and lead confident sales negotiations.
  • Identify projects via databases, project platforms, and tender portals.
  • Follow up on offers and ensure technical and commercial accuracy with the bidding department.
  • Communicate clearly on delivery times, payment terms, and contract conditions.

What you bring

  • Several years of experience in technical or project sales, ideally with switchgear, power distribution, or building technology.
  • Completed technical education in switchgear construction is required.
  • Further training as a Technical Sales Specialist or Technician (TS) is an advantage.
  • Confident in managing complex sales processes and communicating with customers at different levels.
  • Strong at building and maintaining long-term client relationships with a focus on partnership-based consulting and business development.
  • Strategic consulting skills, especially on business models, market positioning, and differentiation.
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong prioritization skills.
  • Team player with initiative, professional communication, and cross-departmental cooperation.
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English.
