Your tasks
- Simulate and optimize power electronic topologies and converters for many applications, including broad system level studies.
- Lead and participate in converter design projects with the business and mentor junior team members.
- Design, build, and test converter prototypes in the lab.
- Drive innovation by developing new power electronic concepts and solutions.
What you bring
- PhD focused on power electronics converter design, optimization, and prototyping.
- Relevant industrial experience is a plus.
- Hands-on laboratory skills and the ability to work independently, taking initiative in designing, building, and testing converter prototypes.
- Experience setting up converter testing with circulating power in a back-to-back configuration is an advantage.
- Experience in design, commissioning, and testing of medium voltage and 3-phase grid connected inverters/rectifiers is an advantage.
- Experience in applied control theory, including hardware implementation of control for power electronic systems, is a plus.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
