Your tasks
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems on our automated equipment
- Carry out preventive maintenance and service on production machines
- Work closely with production teams and cooperate with Production Engineering and outside service providers
- Help with and put in place continuous improvement projects in the production area
- Support better Lean Management practices
What you bring
- Completed apprenticeship as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, production mechanic, electrician, or similar technical training
- At least 10 years of experience diagnosing and repairing production and assembly equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)
- NIV13 or NIV15 installation authorization is a plus, or you are willing to get it (ABB covers the cost)
- You work well with others, communicate clearly, stay motivated, and organize your own tasks
- Basic skills in MS Office and SAP
- Fluent in German; basic English is a plus
- Ready to work in a 3-shift system with on-call duty after training
