As a driven and hands-on professional, you will have the opportunity to shape and improve core operations across our value chain, covering Intralogistics, warehouse operations, and SCM Quality. In this role, you will drive meaningful improvements and create tangible impact on operational performance, efficiency, and transparency. You will take ownership of improvement initiatives across material flows, warehouse operations, and SCM Quality processes, analyze KPIs, and translate insights into concrete actions. Working closely with operational teams on the shopfloor as well as cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure sustainable implementation and measurable results. You will operate at the intersection of operations, logistics, and quality, bringing structure into complex environments, driving topics forward proactively, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Tasks

  • Take ownership of small to mid-sized improvement projects across intralogistics, warehouse operations, and SCM Quality
  • Analyze material flows, processes, and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and improvement potential
  • Drive improvements across inbound, storage, picking, internal logistics flows, and quality-related processes
  • Work closely with operational teams on the shopfloor to implement sustainable process improvements
  • Lead and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives (e.g., Yellow Belt level) where applicable
  • Facilitate workshops such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and structured problem-solving sessions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (logistics, production, quality, purchasing) and external partners to optimize end-to-end processes
  • Define, track, and report KPIs to ensure transparency and continuous performance improvement
  • Standardize processes and implement scalable best practices across the organization

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 1–4 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, production, or a comparable operational environment
  • Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work close to operations and on the shopfloor
  • Proven ability to take ownership and drive topics independently
  • Ability to structure complex topics, prioritize effectively, and deliver results
  • Proactive personality: you identify issues, take initiative, and push solutions through to implementation
  • Strong motivation and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results
  • Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma is a plus
  • Familiarity with process analysis and problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why)
  • Confident use of Excel, Power BI, and SAP
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
