Tasks

  • Develop and monitor a regional sales strategy for the Suisse Sales Region.
  • Achieve volume and profitability targets within Switzerland by maintaining and establishing commercially successful relationships with brokers, companies, major distributors, and clients.
  • Achieve maximum new business and retain existing business to meet sales targets and improve Allianz Partners Health market profile and share.
  • Align sales strategy with Allianz Partners Switzerland and Allianz Suisse and interact with FinMA.
  • Establish and maintain relationships in all business lines with appropriate insurance brokers and distributors in the region.
  • Achieve annual company targets for key focus segments and overall regional targets by growing and maintaining business in all lines and segments.
  • Present to relevant group companies and insurance brokers and obtain commitment to support ventures.
  • Provide training, sales support, and similar services to group companies and brokers.
  • Offer point of sales support and assistance to brokers, companies, and distributors; provide direct client advice in consultation with group companies or distributors; maintain ongoing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support service provision for global or regional client groups.
  • Be an active and supportive member of the regional sales team, sharing knowledge across segments, functions, and countries.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships (e.g. Allianz Partners Switzerland, Allianz Suisse, KPT & FinMa) and report to head office as required.
  • Travel to markets as required.
  • Regularly update the main business planning tool, SalesForce.
  • Cooperate and exchange regularly with Allianz Partners colleagues from other business lines in the region (Health Champions).
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships, handle issues and problems, and proactively establish client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in an insurance sales environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing long-term relationships with corporate clients and business distributors.
  • Proven record of consistent delivery of sales targets.
  • Strong established business relationships with relevant brokers in the sales region.
  • Solid working experience or understanding of back office administration functions.
  • Customer focused.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, and proactive.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
  • Results driven and solution oriented.
  • Insurance background, especially in local Health Insurance and Employee Benefits.
  • Language skills: Suisse German or German (must), English (must), and French (advantage).
