Are you ready to design and shape advanced cabin and avionics systems for transport category aircraft? You will work on a wide range of systems, from in-flight entertainment and environmental controls to power supply and safety features. Your tasks

  • Design cabin-related and avionics systems for aircraft
  • Work on systems like environmental control, in-flight entertainment, communication networks, satellite communication, power supply, galleys, seats, lighting, smoke detection, water, and emergency lighting
  • Work independently on system designs
  • Modify, commission, and test electrical and avionic systems for cabin completion and modification projects
  • Prepare system specifications and service definitions
  • Support project preparation, including requests for quotation and material orders
  • Create layout drawings, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, item lists, and wire lists
  • Handle related ECO and PCR
  • Prepare installation instructions and documentation
  • Develop ground and flight check procedures
  • Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and analysis for equipment qualification, wire routing, installation, safety, and hazard assessments
  • Manage vendor information and manuals
  • Work with Avionic & Electrical Services, Airworthiness, Mechanical Production, and Mechanical Design Engineering departments
  • Cooperate with vendors, suppliers, and test facilities
  • Select equipment, components, and materials
  • Develop electrical wiring diagrams (Visio)
  • Develop technical, safety, and certification documentation
  • Develop engineering standards

What you bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Applicable degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
  • Aviation and design engineering experience is a plus
  • MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD skills
  • Good communication skills in English; German and/or French are a plus
  • Good time management
  • Proactive team player who is object-oriented
  • Dedicated to quality, reliability, and safety
