This temporary position offers a multifaceted and responsible role within a niche industry, based in the city of Basel. You will work in an owner-managed, young and dynamic company with a hands-on mentality.
Tasks
- Review customer and supplier contracts
- Provide general support with legal cases
- Conduct case-by-case assessments in connection with possible sanctions
- Support and review key IT supplier contracts
- Act as the interface to external lawyers in debt collection cases
- Oversee matters relating to GTCs, GTPs and the commercial register
- Take responsibility for Export Control and compliance with applicable laws
- Define departmental guidelines and ensure compliance
- Manage contracts and participate in M&A activities
Requirements
- University degree in Law, preferred from a Swiss university
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent English language skills
- Proficiency in German and/or French would be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Reliable and thorough approach to work
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach
