You lead and manage maintenance projects from start to finish. You make sure everything runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and customer needs are fulfilled. You work closely with different teams and help improve how maintenance projects are handled. Your role is key in making sure projects stay on track and within budget.

Your tasks

  • Lead, monitor, and manage assigned maintenance projects to meet deadlines
  • Take full responsibility for your projects and make sure work standards are set and followed
  • Work with other departments to finish projects on time
  • Develop and improve work procedures and tools for heavy maintenance and minor modifications
  • Support Maintenance and Production Organisations according to rules and regulations
  • Handle all needed administrative steps to support the project and meet requirements
  • Follow all company procedures and safety rules
  • Report to the Manager of Maintenance Project Management
  • Act as the main contact for customers and teams before, during, and after the project
  • Prepare for projects (manpower, planning, parts, tools)
  • Lead meetings and keep Gantt charts up to date
  • Make sure your team has the resources needed
  • Manage incoming phases and reviews with customers and shops
  • Coordinate all activities between customers, production, planning, purchasing, logistics, shops, engineering, and third parties
  • Help the team find smart solutions for unexpected problems to keep projects on schedule
  • Follow up on project costs and support billing
  • Make sure projects meet operational and financial targets
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget as customers expect

What you bring

  • Experience as a leader or Project Manager in an MRO environment
  • At least 5 years aviation experience with technical knowledge
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar education
  • Good understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ambitious, friendly, and good with people
  • Can handle stress well
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Current HF, FTS, EWIS, and Part 145 Continuation certification
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • French or German language skills are a plus
  • Driving license
  • The role (Engineer or Manager) depends on your experience
