Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. The OTC Derivatives Team is responsible for processing and life-cycle management of in-scope products within agreed SLAs and procedures, including collaboration with other Banking Operations teams to increase efficiency.

Tasks

  • Timely and accurate processing of OTC Equity and FX derivative products (Accumulators, Decumulators, Swaps, Dual Currency Investment, Structured Investment, FX related products) as well as Interest Rate Swaps, Listed Options and Futures
  • Prompt follow-up with relevant parties to resolve any trade exceptions/discrepancies
  • Investigating and resolving all outstanding break items (cash and position reconciliations)
  • Ensuring that operational delivery covering Derivatives activities is managed within SLAs and KPIs to prevent losses/breaches and mitigate risks
  • Escalating any operational risks to Manager for mitigation/solutions
  • Supporting Manager in various tasks including process efficiency/improvement and ensuring that information is duly updated in Key Operating Procedure (KOP)
  • Performing User Acceptance Testing as and when required

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in back-office order processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proactivity combined with positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving and time management skills
  • High attention to details, flexibility, and willingness to learn
  • Good communicator with ability to build robust relationships with peers and other stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
  • Good knowledge of Avaloq system is a bonus
  • Solid technical know-how in the Derivatives areas is a bonus
  • Knowledge of French and German are a plus
