The Cash Operations & Payments team in the Application Management Services (AMS) is responsible for providing application maintenance (bug fixing) and small enhancements services for the functional area and all related topics for SaaS clients, in close collaboration with the Back-Office department.
Tasks
- Closely collaborate with the Team Lead, Business Analysts, and other Software Engineers
- Write solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with technical leads and architects
- Participate in client workshops and support business analysts in requirements analysis
- Design, develop and maintain solutions within the team’s responsibility
- Improve and optimize existing functionalities
- Develop and maintain automated tests and quality assurance
- Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise
- Work with agile mindset, process, and ticketing platforms (Jira)
Requirements
- Strong proven track record of relevant software development experience of at least 3 years
- Good knowledge and sound understanding of database technologies (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
- Eager to learn and understand the business needs aiming to provide clean designs and high-quality code
- Strong conceptual and analytical mind with a structured and autonomous approach to work on complex technical and business problems
- Experience in the financial industry and/or cash operations and payments topics (bonus)
- University degree in Computer Science or related discipline (preferable)
- Knowledge in domain specific standards for payments, like SIC, euroSIC, SEPA and SWIFT MT or MX (ISO20022) (bonus)
