In this role, you will take responsibility for the entire application lifecycle, from evaluation and implementation to adoption, operation, and continuous development, working closely with business stakeholders across the group.
Tasks
- Collaborate with the Technical Application Manager and contribute to solution design, implementation, testing, support, analytics, and direct stakeholder consulting.
- Analyze issues and requirements, drive technical implementation, and support related changes in interfacing systems.
- Manage the design, configuration, acceptance tests, and maintenance of the applications.
- Teach employees how to use software applications effectively.
- Manage access to applications in line with security policies.
- Automate application administration, including user management.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs in continuous alignment with business stakeholders and external implementation partners.
- Contribute to the vision and roadmap of the applications within your scope.
- Support negotiations for product pricing, service level agreements, and contracts with vendors.
Requirements
- University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in managing IT applications, with a focus on Facility Management systems (e.g., Workplace Service Delivery, Computer-Aided Facility Management, building access management).
- Understanding of integrated IT landscapes, including business processes, interfaces, and technical integrations.
- Knowledge of web technologies and cloud platforms.
- Expertise in integrating applications and interfaces into existing application landscapes.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and vendor management.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proactive mindset, technical curiosity, and enthusiasm for improvement.
- Service-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player.
- Fluent in German and English.
