In this role, you will take responsibility for the entire application lifecycle, from evaluation and implementation to adoption, operation, and continuous development, working closely with business stakeholders across the group.

Tasks

  • Collaborate with the Technical Application Manager and contribute to solution design, implementation, testing, support, analytics, and direct stakeholder consulting.
  • Analyze issues and requirements, drive technical implementation, and support related changes in interfacing systems.
  • Manage the design, configuration, acceptance tests, and maintenance of the applications.
  • Teach employees how to use software applications effectively.
  • Manage access to applications in line with security policies.
  • Automate application administration, including user management.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs in continuous alignment with business stakeholders and external implementation partners.
  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap of the applications within your scope.
  • Support negotiations for product pricing, service level agreements, and contracts with vendors.

Requirements

  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in managing IT applications, with a focus on Facility Management systems (e.g., Workplace Service Delivery, Computer-Aided Facility Management, building access management).
  • Understanding of integrated IT landscapes, including business processes, interfaces, and technical integrations.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Expertise in integrating applications and interfaces into existing application landscapes.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles and vendor management.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proactive mindset, technical curiosity, and enthusiasm for improvement.
  • Service-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Fluent in German and English.
