This role supports the Strategy and Execution team by leading complex cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that drive the company's business objectives.

Tasks

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, timelines, governance, and defined accountabilities.
  • Coordinate and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Finance, and external partners to ensure timely decision-making and execution.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, timelines, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring successful delivery of committed outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate effective governance by preparing decision-ready analyses, leading project meetings, tracking actions, and escalating critical issues where appropriate.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to project sponsors, leadership teams, and steering committees, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management standards, methodologies, governance, and execution excellence across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline; additional business education is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the IVD, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation in an international and matrix organization.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management expertise; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to translate technical and scientific information into business decisions, navigate ambiguity, and drive execution.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
