Tasks

  • Actively support sales and business development activities, including identifying business opportunities and contributing to proposals, pitches, and client discussions, with a particular focus on the French-speaking part of Switzerland
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network within the Swiss Energy & Utilities ecosystem and work closely with strategic partners to support sustainable business growth
  • Deliver consulting projects in close collaboration with clients to improve and transform their organisations, processes, and operational activities
  • Contribute hands-on expertise in areas such as strategy, business model design, organisational transformation, performance improvement, process optimisation, sustainability, and enterprise applications
  • Ensure strong project delivery, including quantitative and qualitative analyses, preparation of deliverables, research, and project management
  • Continuously develop consulting capabilities and industry expertise while taking on increasing responsibility within projects

Requirements

  • Successfully completed a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in management consulting, in-house consulting, or a comparable relevant role within the Energy & Utilities sector
  • Strong interest in and proven experience with business development and sales activities, including client acquisition and contributing to proposals and pitches
  • Active network within the Energy & Utilities ecosystem and ability to leverage it effectively for business development purposes
  • Solid understanding of topics related to electricity trading and/or transmission and distribution system operators, TSO/DSO, within the Energy & Utilities sector
  • Experience in operational and digital transformation, including strategy, business model design, process and organisational optimisation, and enterprise applications
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
  • Proven analytical and conceptual capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Ability to communicate results and the resulting value for clients in a convincing and impactful manner, both in writing and verbally
