Tasks
- Partner with the Product Category Owner in creating innovative products and delivering customer value.
- Define, manage, and refine product requirements and specifications.
- Conceptualize products, including variants and feature sets, and lead design changes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure feasible, optimized solutions.
- Own key workstreams within product development projects.
- Manage product cost calculations and support cost optimization.
- Drive risk management through design FMEA and product assessments, and resolve global quality issues related to product design.
- Ensure smooth transfer to production and work closely with testing, product management, and compliance to ensure verification, validation, and certification.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Several years of experience in mechatronic product development for industrial manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software domains.
- Deep expertise in requirements engineering; certification is a plus.
- Structured, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Collaborative, proactive team player with a positive attitude.
