As Cyber Security Manager, you will define strategies and actively implement cybersecurity measures, working hands-on with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. You will develop, deploy, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS-2 frameworks, ensuring practical application.

Tasks

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS-2 frameworks.
  • Drive compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and industry standards by translating requirements into effective security policies, procedures, and controls, and integrating them into daily operations.
  • Take ownership of incident management, ensuring swift detection, coordinated response, and resolution of security incidents, while strengthening incident reporting and lessons-learned processes.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, Legal, and Procurement to embed cyber security requirements into contracts and processes, and contribute to a robust third-party risk management framework.
  • Implement, manage, and fine-tune security monitoring tools.
  • Ensure cybersecurity coverage across multiple focus markets, including Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in both cybersecurity management and hands-on implementation, ideally in critical infrastructure or energy sectors.
  • Practical expertise in network management, server virtualisation, OT communication protocols, as well as firewall configuration and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and NIS-2, with practical experience in risk management, compliance audits, and security operations.
  • Analytical mindset, ability to quickly grasp complex topics, and strong communication skills to translate security challenges into pragmatic solutions and drive initiatives forward.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach, willingness to get hands-on, take ownership, and continuously develop expertise.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage (German, Italian, French).
