As a Senior Installation Supervisor at Bühler, you will manage and lead a team of technicians for the installation of large and/or complex projects. You will be responsible for planning, preparation, and execution of installation supervision within the scope of assigned projects.

Tasks

  • Ensure assigned personnel are fully acquainted with site-specific rules, safety regulations, and environmental protection measures, and that they perform their work accordingly.
  • Perform installation according to specifications and engineering documents, considering safety instructions, environmental protection measures, and local regulations.
  • Monitor progress of construction against the program and take steps to ensure the program is achieved.
  • Initiate mitigation or preventive actions as required to achieve target program timelines with support from the Site Manager or Project Manager.
  • Conduct or attend daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, and ensure regular information updates to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
  • Promote correct behaviour and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team in accordance with company policy and local requirements/regulations.
  • Ensure proper reporting, identify, document, and communicate any deviations from customer contract.
  • Maintain an intensive customer relationship and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree and 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company.
  • Strong planning, organising, and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams.
  • Strong customer focus, sound judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills.
