In this role, you will drive technological advancements across the entire machine-to-market process, evaluating and developing innovative technologies, machines, automation, and digital solutions to deliver sustainable value to the global milling industry.
Tasks
- Drive innovation in wheat and rye milling by developing future-focused process solutions from concept to successful implementation.
- Lead the integration of process technology, machinery, automation, and digitalization to create efficient, cost-effective, state-of-the-art milling solutions.
- Validate and optimize concepts through trials, pilot projects, customer applications, and selected plant start-ups.
- Provide technological leadership and hands-on process expertise to support Sales, Quotation, Fulfillment, and R&D teams.
- Build milling knowledge through training and coaching.
Requirements
- Extensive milling expertise, supported by an SMS (Swiss Milling School) or DMSB (Deutsche Müllerschule Braunschweig) diploma and at least 7 years of progressive experience in milling operations as a Technologist, Head Miller, or Production Manager.
- Solid understanding of Bühler milling equipment and control systems combined with systematic and efficient problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams, manage conflicts, and build strong professional relationships.
- Proactive, creative, and self-motivated personality with a market-oriented approach, professional presence, and willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and time-management abilities, with fluency in German and English.
