Tasks

  • Drive strategic growth and deepen client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities to deliver high-impact engineering and digital transformation solutions across R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory domains.
  • Own and grow key client relationships within the life sciences sector, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Identify and shape new business opportunities across digital, engineering, and consulting services.
  • Collaborate with delivery, solution, and pre-sales teams to craft compelling value propositions and proposals.
  • Drive account planning, revenue forecasting, and pipeline development.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement, governance, and issue resolution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to guide client strategy.
  • Represent Capgemini Engineering at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within the life sciences industry or consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing large enterprise accounts.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device business models and regulatory environments.
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation, R&D, manufacturing, or quality operations in life sciences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and influence at the executive level.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are a plus.
