Global Product Leader

Some roles exist to manage processes. This one exists to make consequential decisions about medicines that matter to patients with serious diseases — and to ensure those decisions are made well, at pace, and with the full weight of evidence behind them. CSL Behring is seeking a Global Product Leader (GPL) to take end-to-end ownership of a late-stage development asset, from late research transition through development, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The accountability is real: for strategy, for delivery, and for the value the asset creates across its lifetime.

• Sit on the Therapeutic Area Leadership Team and represent the asset at CSL's most senior governance forums.
• Lead a global, cross-functional Product Strategy Team, integrating clinical, regulatory, commercial, manufacturing, and scientific expertise into an executable plan.
• Own the asset strategy, drive it through governance with clear recommendations, and ensure decisive organizational action when needed.
• Integrate competitive intelligence, payer dynamics, patient insights, and evolving clinical data into strategic trade-offs.
• Lead lifecycle value creation, including label expansions, new indications, and geographic reach.
• Represent CSL externally, including in due diligence and partnership contexts.
• Own the Product Strategy Plan and keep it current as data and conditions evolve.
• Prepare governance bodies to make good decisions by providing well-structured options, clear trade-offs, and defendable recommendations.
• Anticipate risks and surface them early.
• Shape a team culture where problems are raised before escalation, accountability is shared, and work moves with strategic clarity and execution discipline.
• Contribute to building the next generation of product leaders at CSL and to the continued development of the GPL function.
