Join the Global Employer Services (GES) team within Deloitte's Tax & Legal practice, partnering with multinational companies to navigate global mobility and payroll complexity. Deliver end-to-end payroll solutions and strategic advice to keep clients compliant, efficient, and ahead of the curve.

Tasks

  • Master payroll fundamentals while solving real client challenges, including developing expense policies and navigating withholding tax assessments.
  • Build practical skills across the full payroll cycle, from monthly processing and wage type reviews to social security audits.
  • Own critical processes end-to-end: record personnel and salary data, process direct payments via EBICS, distribute payslips, and ensure compliance.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders by interacting with local tax and social security authorities and preparing accurate monthly reports using ELM.
  • Contribute to the team by learning from colleagues, developing new skills, and participating in collective growth.
  • Monthly processing of end-to-end payroll processes in national and international contexts.
  • Further develop technologies in the payroll area and be involved in upcoming technology-driven projects.

Requirements

  • You possess strong numerical skills and a keen understanding of complex interrelationships, demonstrating conscientiousness as well as a solution-oriented and team-focused working style.
  • You enjoy exploring new challenges and are eager to provide comprehensive payroll compliance and advisory services to multinational corporate clients.
  • You hold a qualification in fiduciary services or a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • You possess a high affinity for technology and are keen to learn and work with Artificial Intelligence and payroll systems such as Abacus and SAP.
  • You have excellent command of English and are fluent in either French or German; additional language skills are considered a significant advantage.
