Tasks

  • Provide auditing and assurance services to a portfolio of international and local banking clients.
  • Execute financial and regulatory audits, lead audit teams during fieldwork at clients, and manage and coach junior team members.
  • Work on complex financial areas of clients' balance sheets and income statements, including goodwill, loan loss provisioning on credit portfolios, financial investments portfolios (including complex and non-standard investments), and taxes.
  • Address regulatory areas such as anti-money laundering, internal organisation, client and market conduct, risk management, solvency, and consolidated supervision.
  • Support and ensure the continued training and development of the audit team.

Requirements

  • Are a Swiss Certified Public Accountant (Swiss CPA) or a Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) registered auditor with equivalent foreign qualification, or have started your curriculum to become one.
  • Have more than 4 years' experience in auditing, ideally at one of the Big 4, and have working knowledge of Swiss accounting principles and FINMA regulatory requirements for banks.
  • Communicate confidently in French and English; any further languages would be an advantage.
  • Work independently and are motivated by new challenges, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and like taking on responsibility.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and building and cultivating customer relationships comes easily to you.
