As a Manager in the Tech M&A cohort of the Deal Transformation practice in Zurich, you will advise corporate and private equity clients on the technology dimension of their most important transactions. Technology is a defining value driver in M&A, shaping deal theses, influencing valuation, and determining how value is protected and delivered after close. With AI accelerating change across industries, you will help clients translate technology opportunities, risks and disruption into informed deal decisions and sustainable business value.

Tasks

  • Lead technology due diligence assessments, including technology landscapes, applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, operating models and technology spend to identify deal-relevant risks and opportunities.
  • Advise clients on technology strategy, AI impact, operating model design and value creation opportunities throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Lead technology integration and separation planning, including Day 1 readiness, TSA considerations, target-state design and execution roadmaps.
  • Assess technology costs, investment requirements, synergies and execution complexity while working closely with financial and commercial deal teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, private equity investors and technology leaders, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving complex business and technology challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate technology topics into executive-level business insights.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in M&A, technology strategy, technology transformation, transaction advisory or a related industry role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies, especially AI.
  • Fluency in English.
  • German and/or French is desired.

The Tech M&A team cohort within the Swiss Deal Transformation practice advises clients on the technology dimension of Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve-outs and Integrations. The team works closely with colleagues from Transaction Services, Valuations, Corporate Finance, Commercial, Strategy, Cyber, AI & Data and broader Transformation teams to provide an integrated, value-driven approach to transactions. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to high-profile transactions across industries.
