We work across the full breadth of the actuarial profession, including financial risk and capital management, life insurance, non-life (P&C) insurance, and pensions. Our clients rely on us for consulting in reserving and pricing, valuations, M&A, and regulatory projects, valuing our ability to see decisions from multiple perspectives. In this role, you will join a highly motivated, cross-disciplinary team where you can make an immediate impact, moving between client projects in different domains and contributing to new business from day one.

Tasks

  • Partner directly with clients on engagements spanning life and non-life insurance, financial risk, and pensions, bringing insight from one field to another.
  • Consult on reserving and pricing, actuarial valuations, capital and solvency modelling, ALM, embedded value, and analyses underpinning audit and assurance engagements.
  • Analyse, synthesise, and communicate clear insights on M&A and due diligence across insurance portfolios, pension obligations, and financial structures.
  • Apply relevant frameworks such as IFRS 17, Solvency II, IAS 19, ASC 715, and local statutory bases.
  • Help win new business through persuasive proposals, thought leadership, and a market presence across the actuarial spectrum.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience across more than one actuarial field (life, non-life, insurance, pensions, or broader financial risk).
  • Comfortable crossing traditional boundaries within the actuarial profession or open and curious to learn.
  • University degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Fluency with data, modelling, and analysis, developed through consistent application of these tools.
  • Actuarial or equivalent professional accreditation, or determination to earn one.
  • Motivated by impact, with the ability to dig deeper, challenge assumptions, and find unique solutions.
  • Understanding of how actuarial work feeds into financial statements and capital positions under international and Swiss frameworks, with practical application skills.
  • Knowledge of the Swiss insurance and pension landscape and familiarity with other jurisdictions, providing an international perspective.
  • Fluency in English and German to collaborate across diverse, international clients and teams.

Benefits

  • Meaningful and challenging work in an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Flexible and hybrid working conditions.
  • Wellbeing and parental programmes.
  • Opportunities to connect, collaborate, and learn.
  • Structured trainings, mentoring, and real learning on the job.
  • Development through exposure to a wide range of expertise.
