We work across the full breadth of the actuarial profession, including financial risk and capital management, life insurance, non-life (P&C) insurance, and pensions. Our clients rely on us to navigate decisions that shape their organizations, valuing our ability to see those decisions from multiple perspectives. In this role, you will join a highly motivated, cross-disciplinary team and make an immediate impact by moving between client projects in different domains, contributing to new business, and helping shape how we work.

Tasks

  • Work on audit and assurance engagements with diverse, major organizations alongside talented professionals.
  • Partner directly with clients on engagements spanning life and non-life insurance, financial risk, and pensions, bringing insight from one field to another.
  • Consult on reserving and pricing, actuarial valuations, capital and solvency modelling, ALM, embedded value, and analyses underpinning audit and assurance engagements.
  • Analyse, synthesise, and communicate clear insights on M&A and due diligence across insurance portfolios, pension obligations, and financial structures.
  • Apply relevant frameworks such as IFRS 17, Solvency II, IAS 19, ASC 715, and local statutory bases.
  • Help win new business through proposals, thought leadership, and a market presence built on the ability to advise across the full actuarial spectrum.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience across more than one actuarial field (life, non-life, insurance, pensions, or actuarial and broader financial risk).
  • Comfortable crossing the lines that usually divide the profession or open and curious to learn.
  • University degree in a quantitative discipline and fluency with data, modelling, and analysis.
  • Hold an actuarial or equivalent professional accreditation, or determined to earn one.
  • Energised by impact, able to dig deeper, challenge assumptions, and find solutions others miss.
  • Understand how actuarial work feeds into financial statements and capital positions under international and Swiss frameworks, and can apply that knowledge in practice.
  • Understand the Swiss insurance and pension landscape and bring familiarity with other jurisdictions for an international perspective.
  • Fluency in English and German.

Benefits

  • Meaningful and challenging work.
  • Inclusive and supportive environment where you can be your best self and never stop growing.
  • Flexible and hybrid working conditions.
  • Wellbeing and parental programmes.
  • Many opportunities to connect, collaborate and learn.
