The team delivers transformational outcomes across strategy, technology, and organizational change, helping clients navigate the evolving world of work and unlock workforce potential.

Tasks

  • Lead HR strategy engagements by partnering with C-suite and HR leadership to develop comprehensive HR strategies, process and policy designs, and operating models that drive business value.
  • Advise on payroll transformation, providing expert guidance on payroll optimization, outsourcing decisions, technology implementations, and process improvements across complex, multi-country environments.
  • Optimize HR service delivery by helping clients evaluate and redesign HR service delivery models, including shared services, business process outsourcing, and technology enablement.
  • Manage strategic client relationships, building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders and serving as the primary advisor for complex, high-value engagements.
  • Develop integrated solutions that combine strategy, process redesign, technology, and organizational change to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop talent by guiding junior consultants and team members, sharing expertise and fostering growth in HR advisory and consulting.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by developing insights on HR trends, payroll innovation, and organizational effectiveness, publishing content, and representing Deloitte at industry events.
  • Shape the HR Strategy & Technology practice in Switzerland by contributing to its growth and evolution.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background, ideally a Master’s degree or MBA from a reputable institution, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in HR advisory, HR consulting, or HR operations, with a focus on Payroll and HR Services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in payroll strategy, payroll outsourcing, payroll technology, and payroll operations optimization.
  • Strong experience with HR service delivery models, shared services, and business process outsourcing.
  • Proven track record of leading or supporting successful HR transformation and advisory projects.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, payroll regulations, and organizational structures.
  • Experience working with multinational organizations and complex, multi-country HR and payroll environments.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German is essential; proficiency in additional languages such as French is an advantage.
  • Excellent people management skills and an enthusiastic, positive, 'can do' attitude.
  • Incisive thinker, confident with concepts, analysis and frameworks, with the ability to structure work and deliver under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship builder with clients and fellow consultants, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships.
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally as required.
