In this role, you will help shape sourcing strategies and critical capital investment decisions across operations, working with global stakeholders to influence high-impact business decisions and create long-term value through supplier partnerships, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Tasks
- Act as a key procurement partner for critical capital investments and related indirect spend across the organization.
- (Re-)Shape and implement sourcing strategies for selected categories, aligned with business priorities and long-term objectives.
- Lead supplier selection processes, strategic sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Build productive supplier partnerships that drive performance, innovation, value creation, and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and procurement stakeholders to deliver strategic projects.
- Promote procurement best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement transformation, or a related field.
- Expertise in change management, negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Business acumen with the ability to balance cost, risk, sustainability, and supplier performance objectives.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to use data and insights to support decision-making.
- A collaborative approach and experience working across functions and international environments.
- Fluency in English and German; French language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement, or other related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage, along with experience in procurement, engineering, or technical categories.
