ELCA Advisory, the consulting business line of ELCA, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen its team in Bern and Zürich. You will play a key role in digital transformation projects for first-tier clients, supporting their IT and digital strategies, governance, and transformation initiatives.

Tasks

  • Support customers in the implementation of their digitalization strategies and IT projects.
  • Understand customer needs to conceptualize and design efficient solutions.
  • Solve clients' challenges through a structured approach, identify project risks, and communicate proposed remedies.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify issues, identify problems, define measures, and make recommendations.
  • Conduct workshops with clients to guide them through various project phases.
  • Lead the entire lifecycle from business need to analysis to solution design in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Prioritize requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Identify, elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in the form of user stories for agile development.
  • Act as the interface between the customer and various experts (subject matter experts, development team, etc.).
  • Lead system tests.
  • Contribute to project management and administration.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT, business administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis or management consulting (ideally in a service company).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven success in dealing with stakeholders and experts.
  • Robust communication and persuasion skills to respond to RFPs and marketing initiatives in German and English.
  • Proactivity and strong ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and high motivation to take IT solutions from idea to successful implementation.
  • Strong interest in strategic consulting (data or IT governance, digital strategy, IT management, audit and assessments).
  • As a plus: Certifications such as IREB, HERMES, CSPO, ISTQB or IPMA.
  • Experience with data modeling, BPM.
  • Experience in one of the following industries: Energy, Construction, Healthcare or Public Administration.
