People Advisory Services (PAS) at EY is focused on people management, helping clients get it right in all its facets. PAS has three key pillars: Transformation (Workforce Advisory), mobile talent and workforce enablement (Integrated Mobility), and transactions (Reward and HR M&A). In Reward, EY helps clients manage complex challenges in executive/board rewards, fringe benefits, regulatory compliance, broad based equity programs, grading, and performance management.
Tasks
- Support in the planning and implementation of consulting projects in the area of remuneration for companies from various industries under the guidance and support of project managers.
- Support in all tasks within the scope of individual customer projects: project management, conducting analyses, developing recommendations for action, preparing client presentations, creating concepts.
- Support in the design and development of remuneration systems including function evaluations, function profiles, benchmarking, salary bands and salary regulations.
- Support in preparing offers for new customers or existing customers in several market segments.
- Assist with the maintenance and updating of the EY salary database.
- Collaborate in the implementation of equal pay analyses.
- Review documents and reports.
- Work with key project leaders to manage and maintain client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with other workforce advisory colleagues as well as service lines and colleagues across EY globally.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics or Finance combined with a good understanding of Reward topics.
- First experiences in corporate HR, Compensation & Benefits and/or Consulting.
- Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills and ability to create appropriate presentations for various stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal German and English communication skills and experience of producing high caliber reports, papers, presentations.
- Experience in working on people matters such as key employee retention, compensation, and benefits programs (ideally).
- First experience in people consulting and topics such as conducting remuneration surveys, supporting in day-to-day management of a company’s remuneration offering, knowledge about market trends in the field of rewards and key drivers (ideally).
- Experience of supporting projects/workstreams (ideally).
- Team player mentality with the ability to integrate with new teams quickly.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions.
- Pragmatic and adaptable with the ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively manage conflict.
