Join EY's Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team to help businesses respond to societal, environmental, and economic challenges. The team combines core knowledge in accounting and reporting with expertise in technical and regulatory sustainability issues, supporting clients in improving ESG reporting and integrating sustainability aspects into business processes.

Tasks

  • Lead client engagements focused on the design and implementation of sustainability technology solutions.
  • Advise clients on target architectures, operating models, and technology roadmaps for ESG data, reporting, and performance management.
  • Drive projects involving Microsoft solutions such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, Fabric, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft OpenAI and Copilot capabilities, and adjacent technologies from other software vendors.
  • Shape or contribute to AI architecture for enterprise use cases, including orchestration, security, access model, integration patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Support the translation of business and regulatory requirements into solution design, process flows, data models, and functional specifications.
  • Lead workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize use cases, and align on delivery approach.
  • Oversee solution configuration, testing, deployment, and business adoption.
  • Manage project teams, coach junior colleagues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development by shaping proposals, client pitches, points of view, and go-to-market offerings.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across sustainability, finance, procurement, operations, and IT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology/engineering, ideally combined with environmental sciences/engineering, sustainability, or related/equivalent fields of study.
  • Interest in sustainability, climate change, human rights, biodiversity, and non-financial reporting & assurance, as well as training in these areas.
  • Experience in climate change services, human rights, or in financial or non-financial audit.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple engagements with overlapping deadlines.
  • Agility to learn and adapt on the job, ask the right questions, and strive for the best solutions for clients.
  • Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience gained in a consulting firm.
  • Good understanding of the broader Microsoft stack, including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Copilot, Azure OpenAI services, or adjacent technologies from other software vendors.
  • Proven ability to lead workstreams or end-to-end projects in complex client environments.
  • Strong understanding of data, process, and systems integration topics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing proposals, managing teams, and contributing to practice growth.
  • University degree in business, technology, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; German or French is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sustainability Manager (ideally).
  • Experience in ESG, sustainability, carbon, non-financial reporting, supplier engagement, or broader sustainability data management (ideally).
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, cloud-based data platforms, and workflow automation (ideally).
  • Experience integrating Microsoft solutions with ERP, data platforms, or third-party sustainability tools (ideally).
  • A strong network within the Microsoft ecosystem or experience collaborating with alliance teams (ideally).
  • Relevant certifications, preferably from Microsoft (ideally).
