You will work with national and international companies active in the banking sector and help grow a dynamic practice through the development of trusted client relationships and high performing teams. Tasks
- Manage audits of companies headquartered in Switzerland and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups.
- Help build trust and confidence through transparency, clarity and consistency.
- Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction.
- Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year.
- Direct daily fieldwork, inform Senior Managers and Partners of the engagement status, and manage staff performance.
- Coach more junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters.
- Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
- Contribute ideas and opinions to the audit teams and listen and respond to other team members’ views.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
- You are or are about to be in possession of a certified public accountants’ diploma or other similar diploma (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
- 5-7 years’ experience in external audit; experience in a Big Four is a plus.
- Managerial experience in leading an audit team in an international environment, coaching audit staff and seniors on technical accounting/auditing procedures, liaising with audit specialists.
- Experience in Swiss Regulatory audits is a strong asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French are required; English and German are strong assets, any additional language is considered a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well, establish strong working relationships, maintain a positive outlook, and work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- A strong interest in the profession and client-oriented attitude.
- Strong team player mentality to proactively drive solutions within highly motivated and diverse teams across functions, countries and regions.
