As part of the Technology Strategy & Transformation Team at EY, you will deliver exceptional client service by consulting clients on technology strategies and advising on how technology enablement, digital transformation, and enterprise intelligence can support their business strategies. You will work with clients on strategic technology solutions and support the transformation of IT organizations, operating models, and capabilities.

Tasks

  • Contribute to engagement teams to realize clients’ strategy, process, people, and technology transformations.
  • Participate in transformational technology consulting engagements, including Technology Strategy & Assessment, business/technology/solution architecture, business and IT requirements definition, IT process design, transformational technology program management, design and improvement of IT operating models, and advisory on ServiceNow and Microsoft technologies.
  • Work effectively and independently as a team member, and lead small teams of 2-3 consultants, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior leadership on progress.
  • Provide guidance and quality assurance for end-to-end deliverables to more junior team members.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of high-quality work products for clients and related parties in a timely manner.
  • Maintain full accountability of project financials and compliance topics.
  • Anticipate, identify, and manage risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior team members.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with senior clients’ personnel.
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting and with other services across the organization.
  • Follow the educational program to continually develop personal skills and capabilities.
  • Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining consulting professionals.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a reputable university with excellent academic records.
  • 6+ years of experience in Big4 consultancies, Strategy Houses, or similar departments within industry organizations or niche consultancies.
  • People and project management experience.
  • Senior client management experience.
  • Customer-centricity and strong interpersonal skills – a team player.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment.
  • Excellent analytical skills for both business and technology solutions, including analyzing business and technology problems in a clear, concise manner.
  • Keen interest in technology; mindset is prioritized over skill set.
  • Excellent skills in both written and verbal English and German/French (both would be an advantage).
  • Ideally, ITIL certification.
  • Project Management Certification (SCRUM, PMI, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • Understanding of Technology Strategy and Transformation disciplines including IT Strategy, Digital, Infrastructure and Cloud Strategy, Service Resiliency, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Sourcing, and IT service management.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications and technologies like ServiceNow, Microsoft (Office 365, Dynamics, Azure, etc.), AWS, Google Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Veeva, IQVIA, Salesforce, Pega.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, including artificial intelligence, deep learning, advanced predictive modelling, etc.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as C++, Java, Python.
