Your tasks
- Oversee and develop ongoing valuation projects and help bring in new business through active go-to-market activities.
- Use your technical and business knowledge to ensure high-quality results for clients.
- Take part in real estate advisory work, including financial analyses, cash flow and property modeling, model reviews, market due diligence, asset valuations, and appraisal reviews.
- Manage projects involving many property types, such as multi-family residential, office, retail, hotel, warehouse, industrial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and special-use properties.
- Research market information, analyze real estate documents, and prepare clear reports.
- Join sales and marketing opportunities to help grow the business.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in real estate, engineering (ETH/EPFL), architecture, economics, or MBA.
- 6-10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years in real estate valuation.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English; French is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss real estate market and a good network with major Swiss real estate owners, including institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, and pension funds.
- Experience building complex financial models (like DCF, NPV, and cap rates) and understanding real estate laws and tax issues.
- Background in real estate valuation, acquisition due diligence, asset management, finance, or market research.
- Ability to work across areas such as M&A and Transaction Support.
- Innovative, dynamic, and outgoing personality.
- Membership in professional groups like RICS is a plus.
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with real estate databases and financial modeling preferred.
