In this role, you will help global organizations design and implement end-to-end EPM operating models and technology platforms powered by SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP’s next-generation planning, consolidation and performance management solutions.

Tasks

  • Support clients in rethinking traditional EPM landscapes and designing future-ready, AI-enabled performance management platforms.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams combining Finance, Controlling, Tax, Data & Analytics and SAP expertise.
  • Connect strategy, planning and execution.
  • Harmonize planning and actuals across the enterprise.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
  • Accelerate financial close and reporting processes.
  • Enable AI-driven performance management.
  • Establish trusted and scalable data foundations.
  • Integrate Finance, Tax and Sustainability reporting.
  • Leverage SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Cloud ERP capabilities.
  • Support the design and implementation of end-to-end EPM strategies and target operating models.
  • Assess current-state planning, consolidation, management reporting and performance management processes.
  • Define future-state architectures and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead client workshops with Finance, Controlling, Tax and IT stakeholders.
  • Design integrated planning and performance management processes across business functions.
  • Support or lead SAP EPM implementation projects, including SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning), SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Group Reporting, SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Datasphere, SAP AI and Agentic Planning capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and solution architectures.
  • Drive fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops.
  • Define reporting, planning and analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Design harmonized data models connecting planning, actuals, tax and compliance data.
  • Support clients in establishing enterprise-wide data products.
  • Enable advanced analytics, predictive forecasting and scenario planning capabilities.
  • Assess opportunities for AI-enabled planning and performance steering.
  • Contribute to governance, data quality and master data initiatives.
  • Advise CFO organizations on integrated planning, financial consolidation, management reporting, KPI frameworks, driver-based planning, performance steering, transfer pricing integration, tax performance management, sustainability performance management.
  • Support business case development and value realization initiatives.
  • Manage workstreams and client relationships (Manager).
  • Lead project teams and offshore delivery resources (Manager).
  • Manage project risks, scope and stakeholder expectations (Manager).
  • Coach and develop junior team members (Manager).
  • Contribute to account development and proposal activities (Manager).

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Finance transformation and CFO agendas.

  • Ability to work across Finance, Tax, IT and Operations functions.

  • Senior Consultant: 3–6 years of experience in Finance Transformation, EPM or SAP Consulting.
  • Experience in three or more of: SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Group Reporting, SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP BPC, SAP Datasphere, Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan, Board.
  • Understanding of planning, forecasting or consolidation processes.
  • Experience participating in transformation or ERP programs.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • Manager: 6–10+ years of consulting or industry experience.
  • Proven track record leading Finance Transformation and EPM initiatives.
  • Experience managing client stakeholders at Director, Head of Finance or CFO levels.
  • Functional leadership in large SAP transformation programs.
  • Ability to manage project teams and business development activities.
  • Experience building proposals and supporting sales pursuits.
  • Preferred experience in one or more of: Enterprise Performance Management strategy, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, SAP Group Reporting, Financial Consolidation, Management Reporting, Driver-Based Planning, Integrated Business Planning, FP&A Transformation, Tax Technology and Tax Performance Management, ESG and Sustainability Reporting, Data & Analytics Transformation, AI-enabled Finance processes, SAP S/4HANA Transformation programs.
