In this role, you will be part of the Technology Consulting business, working collaboratively on challenging data management and governance projects for clients using the latest technologies. The Consulting business offers a broad range of functional and cross-country services focused on business transformation programs, providing seamless, consistent, and high-quality services worldwide. Teams work with clients to deliver all aspects from design to delivery of data strategy, analytics, and insight-generating solutions.
Tasks
- Lead business development and go-to-market activities for AI & Data services in Switzerland, building and maintaining senior client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and leading proposal development and sales pursuits.
- Advise C-level stakeholders on Data & AI transformation strategies, helping clients define and implement enterprise-wide AI roadmaps that deliver measurable business value.
- Lead the design and delivery of innovative AI solutions, focusing on Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI Factories, intelligent automation, and data-driven operating models.
- Drive large-scale transformation programs across strategy, governance, operating models, data platforms, and AI adoption, ensuring sustainable business outcomes.
- Oversee multidisciplinary project teams and provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them unlock value from data, modernize their technology landscape, and accelerate AI adoption.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the EY AI & Data practice through thought leadership, mentoring, coaching, talent development, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with local and global EY teams to bring innovative solutions and leading practices to clients.
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of independently generating sales of more than 3 Mio.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior business and technology leaders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
- Established network of senior decision-makers and proven ability to leverage relationships to originate opportunities, develop strategic accounts, and drive revenue growth.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and account growth, including identifying opportunities, leading proposals, developing client relationships, and closing complex consulting engagements.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and trends, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, AI governance, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Experience in establishing and scaling AI Factories and operating models that enable organizations to industrialize AI capabilities and accelerate value creation.
- Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, data architecture, cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and AI solution implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, coaching professionals, and driving high-performing delivery organizations.
- Full professional proficiency in English; German and/or French would be considered a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and neighboring countries and occasionally internationally to support client engagements and business development activities.
