The Musculoskeletal Bioengineering Laboratory is an interdisciplinary research group focused on understanding the pathophysiology of arthritis. The group integrates in vitro models across diverse cell types and in vivo models of joint injury and inflammatory arthritis to elucidate inflammation and fibrosis-relevant mechanisms leading to joint disease. The goal is to identify and target novel molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation and tissue degeneration, aiming to develop disease-modifying therapies. This is a project-focused position with a fixed one-year term, with the possibility of extension.
