ETH Zurich Space is seeking support to enhance its visibility and ensure clear, engaging, and up-to-date communication across its channels. The position offers flexible working hours at a scope of 20 - 40%, with a start date at the beginning of September or immediately.

Tasks

  • Collect content for newsletters, prepare and format it for publication
  • Create engaging space-related content for ETH Zurich Space’s social media channels
  • Regularly maintain and update the ETH Zurich Space website to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Develop a solid understanding of the ETH Zurich Space ecosystem and stay informed about current activities, news, and opportunities
  • Prepare space-related content from various sources (researchers, partners, events, missions) for use across different media formats
  • Support with other tasks as needed (e.g. PPT presentations, creating brochures and print material, sourcing merchandising, creating videos and podcasts, and planning events)

Requirements

  • Longer term employment horizon (2 plus years)
  • In-depth interest or understanding in Space and relevant educational background
  • Be familiar with the ETH Zurich (Space) environment or willing to explore it
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus
  • Ability to transform complex topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding and knowledge of digital communication channels
