Due to a long-term absence, the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC) is seeking a temporary replacement to support the Executive MBA ETH HSG (emba X) team with administrative and operational tasks. The emba X is a flagship joint programme between ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen, aiming to develop socially responsible leaders who can integrate leadership and technology challenges for a positive impact on teams, organisations, and society.
Tasks
- Organization and hosting of events for the Alumni community and expert talks
- Administrative tasks such as programme schedule management, coordination of learning materials and course preparation with lecturers, support and structuring of learning platforms and tools, and handling of course evaluations
- Operational tasks including support in planning and implementation of course weeks hosted by ETH, room and catering reservations, coordination with technical support, and presence in the classroom when required
- Support to Programme's Academic and Managing Directors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Education, Hospitality or related field
- 2-5 years experience in event management, customer/student services, programme or projects coordination
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer and service-orientation
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal; German would be an asset
