You support teaching and research in the Physics Laboratory, working with over 300 experiments across many physics topics. You help with both theory and practical courses and join a dynamic team of faculty, lecturers, technicians, and researchers. The lab is active in electronics, renewable energies, photonics, and sensor technologies. This role offers a mix of hands-on and conceptual work in an innovative university environment.

Your tasks

  • Support the conceptualization, design, and prototyping of new experimental setups for theory and laboratory lectures
  • Help develop prototypes for bachelor and master student scientific projects

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with CAD and/or FEM software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Synopsys, Silvaco, Ansys, COMSOL) is an advantage
  • Work independently, reliably, and in a well-organized, team-oriented way
  • Willingness to pursue a master’s degree alongside the position within the FHNW MSE program
